Its a famous South Korean Kpop girls group formed by SM Entertainment. Their debut came on August 1, 2014, with the single “Happiness”. The group started off with four members initially but later in march 2015 yeri was added in the group.
The group has given back to back many hits. Their EP, Ice Cream Cake, ranked at top of the Gaon Album Chart. Many albums along with The Red, Rookie and The Red Summer also topped the Billboard World Albums.
Time magazine named Red velvet group as one of the best K-pop groups in Feb 2018. They even performed in North Korea.
